Scientific studies

•Supplementation with bovine colostrum modulates gut barrier function and systemic inflammation in healthy older adults
A study published in the journalAging Cell(2023, PMID 37908368) showed that daily supplementation with bovine colostrum improves intestinal barrier integrity, reduces zonulin levels and systemic inflammation (CRP, IL-6) in the elderly.Link to the study

•Bovine colostrum enhances intestinal epithelial repair and reduces permeability via modulation of tight junction proteins
A study published in the journalCell Reports(2021, PMID 34202206) showed that bioactive peptides from colostrum stimulate the regeneration of intestinal epithelial cells and increase the expression of tight-junction proteins (occludin, claudin-1), thereby reducing intestinal permeability.Link to the study

•Bovine colostrum supplementation improves immune defense and reduces respiratory infections in older adults
The latest clinical study published in the journalNature Aging(2023, PMID 38004173) showed that eight weeks of colostrum supplementation increased the activity of NK cells and reduced the frequency of respiratory infections in the elderly population.Link to the study

• 45% ukupnih imunoglobulina

• 40% imunoglobulina G (IgG)

• 3,5% laktoferina

• 2,5% prolinskih bogatih polipeptida (PRP)

Kako deluju imunoglobulini?

➡️ IgA – štite sluzokožu (creva, disajni putevi) i sprečavaju „lepljenje“ mikroorganizama

• čuva strukturu proteina i enzima bez oštećenja

• zadržava biološku aktivnost ključnih sastojaka

• omogućava očuvanje većeg broja hranljivih i funkcionalnih komponenti

Kvalitet i sigurnost

Svaka serija prolazi kontrolu kvaliteta i mikrobiološke ispravnosti.

Kako deluje Kolostrum?

How does it work?

Immune system support: Due to its high content of antibodies (immunoglobulins), bovine colostrum can help strengthen immune function and protect the body from pathogens. It is especially used to support people who have weakened immunity or are prone to frequent infections.

Improving gut health: Growth factors and bioactive components in colostrum can help restore the intestinal lining, which is beneficial for people suffering from leaky gut syndrome or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Colostrum can help repair damaged intestinal tissue and improve digestive function.

Increase in muscle mass and regeneration: Growth factors, such as IGF-1, help stimulate muscle growth and tissue regeneration, which can be beneficial for athletes or people recovering from injuries. Bovine colostrum can accelerate muscle recovery after physical exertion.

Support for infections and inflammation: Lactoferrin and immunoglobulins in colostrum help fight bacterial and viral infections. Also, colostrum has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce inflammation in the body.

Support recovery from stress: Bovine colostrum can help reduce the negative effects of physical and mental stress, supporting the immune system and body regeneration.

Prevention of gastrointestinal infections: Because of its antimicrobial properties, bovine colostrum can help prevent diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems, including those caused by bacterial infections or antibiotic use.

Bovine colostrum is generally safe to use, but it can cause allergic reactions in people who are allergic to dairy products. Also, people with lactose intolerance should be careful. As with all supplements, it is important to consult your doctor before using, especially if you have chronic conditions or are taking other medications.

Ingredients:

Lyophilized bovine colostrum obtained from the first cowmilk, standardized to contain 45% immunoglobulin (including 40% immunoglobulin G), 3.5% lactoferrin and 2.5% proline-rich polypeptide -PRP-; capsule (shell component -hydroxypropylmethylcellulose).

Warnings:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Pregnant and lactating women should consult a doctor before using the product. The product may contain lactose.

Storage:

Store in a well-closed container, out of the reach of small children, in a dry place, at room temperature. Protect from sunlight.
