Apigenin (4′,5,7-trihydroxyflavone) is a natural compound in the class of flavones (plant pigments), found in insufficient amounts in foods such as parsley and chamomile. Research has revealed that apigenin provides anti-inflammatory action as well as a number of powerful anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties. Apigenin, through potent inhibition of CD38, significantly improves NAD+ levels, triggering key processes that slow aging. CD38 is an enzyme present in our cells that breaks down NAD+, reducing its beneficial effects. Inhibition of this enzyme is currently being investigated as a potential therapy to extend lifespan and significantly improve overall health, offering real hope in the fight against degenerative diseases and aging.

Apigenin is naturally found in plants such as celery, parsley and onions, but also in citrus fruits, and after numerous studies, they aregrapefruit(Citrus paradisi) recognized as the best natural source of this healthy compound. This is why the source of our apigenin is grapefruit peel, which contains the most easily digestible and biologically active apigenin, making it the preferred source of this valuable compound. Apigenin from grapefruit is obtained by extracting naringin from the peel of the fruit, followed by hydrolysis of that compound, which separates into two parts: glucose and apigenin. The final form of the substance is glucose-free and contains pure, naturally derived apigenin.

Recommended daily dose:5 mg/kg of body weight but no more up to 1500mg.

For a person of 80 kg, it would be: 400 mg per day, for a person of 60 kg it would be 300 mg, with a note not to exceed 1500 mg (1.5 g) per day.

Mix in 200ml of water and drink immediately.

Shelf life:2 years.

The bioavailability of apigenin itself is low to medium, so it is recommended to consume it with oil and food rich in sugars, which can improve absorption.

Ease of dissolution in watermakes consumption easier, especially for people who do not like or have difficulty swallowing pills.

Free measuring spoon included. A teaspoon contains 400g of apigenin and is dishwasher safe. For other products, please note that the density may vary and the spoon may have a different mass.

Apigenin is temperature stable, but we recommend storing it in the refrigerator when possible.
